Steff and Milo find hope, spirit, and fight after a battling draw at Anfield. They’ll also get into some green shoots from the Wanda earlier in the week, as well as calling out the ‘football media industry’ and their distasteful and unhelpful way of piling misery into our eyes and ears! Grab this hopium and soar (or something like that)!
Micky van de Ven
van de Pen
Where do we go from here? Steff, Milo and Ram discuss our loss to Crystal Palace and try to sort through the turbulence, turmoil and trauma of Tottenham Hotspur right now. How are we personally dealing with this? And with 9 games to go, what we would do.
Limping On
Steff and Milo look chronologically at a week which started with Thomas Frank’s Warm & Fuzzy Training Ground Lunch, and ended with a last gasp point scraped at Burnley. Meanwhile, the alternate universe Spurs cruised to an easy 2-0 win in the Champions League v Dortmund. We also shamelessly celebrate Cristian Romero!
Doubting Thomas
Steff, Milo and Gareth are your therapists helping guide us all through the choppy waters which saw a home defeat to Fulham and a CL away defeat to PSG. You actually get a little over the usual ‘hour’ AND we don’t charge, so settle back on the couch, clear your mind, and engage with the assistance being offered (hope it helps!)…
Signs Of Improvement?
Milo, Gareth and Ram discuss our draw against Manchester United and our resounding win against FC Copenhagen.
Challenges and Changes – Our Season So Far
Steff, Milo, and Gareth take stock of the matches against Chelsea in the Prem and Newcastle in the League Cup, as well as taking a dialectic look at where we are at the quarter-point of the season.
Hey Micky!
Steff, Milo and Hannah discuss our win against Everton and Vic’s heroics in Monaco.
Bilbao Bound
Steff, Gareth and Milo get together to bask in a wonderful night in Bodo and celebrate Spurs booking a place in the Europa League Final.
Topsy-Turvy Tottenham
Steff and Milo look back to another topsy-turvey Tottenham week as the highs of Alkmaar are balanced by defeat to Fulham. There’s humour, metaphors, existentialism, recognition of frustration, brave attempts to pronounce Bergvall properly, recognition of how glorious our first-choice CBs are, PLUS a formal declaration that our season essentially hinges on 5 games IF we can knock out the first two of those! It all makes sense…honest guv!
Cherry Picking
Steff, Milo and Gareth look back at the Bournemouth 2-2 draw and the Europa League first-leg defeat at AZ Alkmaar. We look at the good (Vicario and Bergvall), the bad (not showing up in the Netherlands), and the ugly (our season has essentially come down to one very tough game as a consequence). We also re-visit The Sad Tale of Mabbutt’s Knee, and reflect on Alan Pardew’s finest (?) moment in a Spurs shirt. Hmmm…
