Challenges and Changes – Our Season So Far

Steff, Milo, and Gareth take stock of the matches against Chelsea in the Prem and Newcastle in the League Cup, as well as taking a dialectic look at where we are at the quarter-point of the season.

Topsy-Turvy Tottenham

Steff and Milo look back to another topsy-turvey Tottenham week as the highs of Alkmaar are balanced by defeat to Fulham. There’s humour, metaphors, existentialism, recognition of frustration, brave attempts to pronounce Bergvall properly, recognition of how glorious our first-choice CBs are, PLUS a formal declaration that our season essentially hinges on 5 games IF we can knock out the first two of those! It all makes sense…honest guv!

Cherry Picking

Steff, Milo and Gareth look back at the Bournemouth 2-2 draw and the Europa League first-leg defeat at AZ Alkmaar. We look at the good (Vicario and Bergvall), the bad (not showing up in the Netherlands), and the ugly (our season has essentially come down to one very tough game as a consequence). We also re-visit The Sad Tale of Mabbutt’s Knee, and reflect on Alan Pardew’s finest (?) moment in a Spurs shirt. Hmmm…

State of the Nation

Steff, Milo, and Gareth tear up the script and go all-in on a Spurs ‘state of the nation’ style discussion. We analyse the current situation we find ourselves in, from injuries to operations, we offer reasons not excuses, we discuss patience in the storm, Milo sings a bit, Steff pulls out possibly his weirdest metaphor yet, and Gareth offers an overview on Anthony Taylor. It’s loose, it’s tight, it’s emotional, it’s rational, it’s Tottenham Hotspur incarnate…

Dom Dishes Up Humiliation

Steff and Milo are joined by Ram -who passed a late fitness test having returned from witnessing the 4-1 thumping of Aston Villa a little hoarse for wear- to discuss both the aforementioned emphatic victory, and the defeat of Man City earlier in the week. It’s all fun fun fun.

2 Steps Forward, 1 Step Back

Steff, Milo and Gareth discuss the disappointment of Palace, the Alkmaar win, how we love Moore and Moore and Moore (you have to sing that!) and discuss how appalling our behaviour was against West Ham. Fine? Yes, but not really. Saddle up for the ride…

Spurs Are Good And We Are Happy

Steff, Milo, and Gareth look back at the demolition West Ham, the resurgent Sonny, the dominant Deki, and how Ange is no one-trick pony. It’s all enjoyable, defiant, and factually undeniable stuff, so welcome aboard…
